John Bird is a citizen of the world, having worked as a personal assistant / chef / travel arranger and party planner to celebrities in U.S.A and Europe.

Speaking, French and Italian and with a love of lite and its variety,
he is at home wherever he goes.

Born in Australia, John was a successful Hair Stylist, having his own business in Australia and then working in Paris and New York. In Paris, John graduated from the world famous Cordon Bleu, Ecole de Cuisine, Paris; France; refining his knowledge of cuisine, especially the art of Mediterranean cooking. In more recent years he has worked as personal assistant and events organiser for leading names in the world of film and for the discreetly quiet in fabulous homes from Hollywood to New York, and in Europe.

Whilst living in New York, John attended and assisted at the New School of Culinary Arts. John started his own cooking classes in New York, gradually building a reputation amongst a select group of followers. Returning to his home city, Melbourne, John, travels regularly to Europe for pleasure and most importantly and enjoying passing on his passion and knowledge of life and travel to others.

John offers a humorous, distinguished and fun chance to explore the secrets of Italy, France, Spain and Turkey and its cuisine that he has come to love.
